The last few years have been pretty woeful in terms of jailbreaks. After iOS 10 was released we only saw Yalu jailbreak but it was limited in who could use it. Enter iOS 11 and there hasn’t been one jailbreak. This has left iOS users scrambling to find other ways to get their tweaks and, with one of the more popular reasons for jailbreaking being to get some Android content, an app installer called ACMarket proved popular. Not everyone wanted only Android content though, but another installer called Panda Helper has been released, offering a whole heap of iOS content for free.

Panda Helper is available in a free version and a paid version. The free version is more than enough for most of us, given that it contains all the tweaks, modified content, and premium content we could possibly want for free; the paid version offers a couple more features, but you would have to weigh up whether you are prepared to pay for those extras or not.
None of the third-party app installers is designed to replace Cydia; they simply can’t offer the same depth of functionality because they don’t have the jailbreak mechanism to get that deep into the iOS. Many of the Cydia apps rely on this to work and a third-party installer, no matter how good it is, cannot hope to compete. However, Panda helper does contain loads of content, more than enough for all of us to be going on with and is well worth a look. If you don’t like it, just delete it, no harm done.
