iOS 4.3.3 is dropping in a few hours . Apple has confirmed that they are fixing the iOS tracking bug in the next firmware release. The bug according to them is merely an engineering fault . Some iPhone developers came to know about the bug when they found that their location data is being stored in a database file on the device . Though the information was not very accurate , but it can give an approximate idea of a persons movements . More details covered here .

Soon after this “flaw” was discovered , the jailbreak community came up with a solution called Un-Trackered which is a free to use tweak on Cydia that deletes the tracking information from the database file .
