iOS 10.0.3 Jailbreak

The big question, now that iOS 10.0.3 is here, but can we jailbreak it yet ?  The answer to that is still no and the latest jailbreak we have remains PPHelper for iOS 9.2 to iOS 9.3.3 but only for 64-bit devices.  We already know that both iOS 10 and iOS 10.0.2 jailbreak is possible because we have seen the proof from Luca Todesco. But the likelihood of the vulnerabilities used in those jailbreaks being patched by now is very high, leaving Taig and Pangu to find what they can in iOS 10.0.3 download [ext link] released by Apple. Not only that, finding a jailbreak for one device is not quite the same as finding one that works on millions of devices safely.

iOS 10 has been an extremely popular version of the iOS firmware but, as with all new releases, we have had the usual bugs and issues that need to be fixed. Apple is releasing updates to the firmware at a fair rate right now and we also have iOS 10.1 in beta, although we don’t have a release date for that right now. Right now though, the cat and mouse game that Apple and the jailbreak developers are constantly playing is heating up.

In recent years we have come to expect a jailbreak to be released within a matter of weeks after a new iOS firmware is released but things are changing. With the addition of extra security in iOS 10, Apple is hoping to hold off on a jailbreak being developed, if not prevent it altogether. Add to that the Bug Bounty program that the Cupertino company is currently running and we could be in for a longer wait than we have become accustomed to. However, that’s not to say that we won’t be seeing an iOS 10.0.3 jailbreak [ext link], just that we might not see it as soon as we had hoped.

iOS 10.0.3 Jailbreak Release Date :

At this moment in time, the best thing you can do is hang on to your PPHelper jailbreak if you still have it on your iPhone or iPad. If you have already updated to iOS 10 or higher then you are going to have to wait a little longer for Taig or Pangu to release their iOS 10.0.3 jailbreak solution to the public.
