Jailbreak Developer Joshua Tucker has successfully Installed SIRI on iPhone 4 and iPad running iOS 5 . The work is going on to port SIRI on all iOS 5 supported devices like iPod Touch 4 and iPhone 3GS . It has not yet decided as how SIRI will be distributed for installation but Cydia is definitely a choice for the Dev Team .
Update : Read the tutorial to Install SIRI on iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4 . Please note that this only the porting of GUI and not the complete woeking version of SIRI . SIRI Voice Commands are not supported yet.
Joshua also mentioned in his recent blog post that distribution of such files can cause copyright infringement issues as those files belong to Apple . So jailbreak team has to find a way through the legal issues of porting SIRI .
SIRI will Require Jailbreak :
You will need to jailbreak your iOS device in order to download and use SIRI . Since SIRI is only allowed to run on iPhone 4S , it will require some jailbreak tricks to make Apple Servers believe that your device is an iPhone 4S . The data exchanged between your device and Apple servers is intercepted and modified to do that method work .
