5.1.1 UnTethered Now Supports all iOS Devices

Pod2G has recently confirmed via his official twitter account that his upcoming iOS 5.1.1 Untethered Jailbreak will support all iOS devices , after successfully testing the exploits on non-supported device ( iPhone 3GS , iPod Touch 3G ) . Few days back only iPhone 4S , , iPhone 4 , iPad 1st generation , iPad 2 and iPad 3 were supported . iPad 2 jailbreak presently covers the Wi-Fi model only while iPad 3 gets untethered jailbreak on both the Wi-Fi and CDMA versions . 5.1.1 unetethered jailbreak download

Please note that 5.1.1 jailbreak is already available on tethered version (link) where you need to connect with the computer in case you loose power of turn off your device. Being tethered means the device will not turn on itself by pressing the power button . It will remain stuck at the Apple Boot Logo while not being able to execute the boot process . Having an untethered jailbreak is convenient when are out on a tour and away from computer .
