Recently I am flooded with questions from all my readers asking for the next release of Iphone 4 iOS 4.0.2 Jailbreak which patched the “PDF Exploit” , and all previous jailbroken iphone’s stopped working. Apple has closed the jailbreakme.com hole. They’re shipping devices with FW 4.0.2/3.2.2, impervious to this particular jailbreak. So now, people will begin to ask: will there be a jailbreak for devices that shipped with 4.0.2/3.2.2, out of the box?
No, there won’t be. FW 4.0.2/3.2.2 was *only* released to fix the jailbreakme hole. With FW 4.1 still in its beta stages, it makes no sense to escalate the “cat & mouse” with Apple for FW updates that only fix the jailbreak holes. To quote WOPR, “the only winning move is not to play”.
This now brings uncertainty cloud over next jailbreak announcement . Bad news for Iphone 4.0.2 users , there is no jailbreak for you now. The iOS patch jas just to cover the jailbreakMe hole , as said above.
However , stay tuned to this blog , as we bring you 24×7 Jailbreak Alerts via email for those who have subscribed to our updates , and you can get the jailbreak , before its fixed.
Note : Those with upgraded to iOS 4.0.2 version from iOS 4.0.1 , they still have a hope to downgrade . Please follow the Downgrade Tutorial in the blog for more details .

Their will def. Be a jb. Every1 knows it. What about all of those people making money off of the apps that apple said weren’t good enough for their hierarchy ?? Just be patient people. We hackers are working furiously.

Thanks for leaving your comment . Its just that people go for some paid jailbreaking solution ,which stopped working after the iOS patch, and they loose their money spending on these stuff , when jailbreakme is completely free .

I have a question. Why does the apple store sell the locked version of the phone then for the full price. I bought the 32gb iphone for $700. Isn’t it our property to use as we please if we buy the phone from them for the full price.

hi hani, as per my understanding, you cannot unlock the iphone 4 without jailbreaking it.
i asked maybe million times to salesman in apple store (DENVER, USA) that “can i use it with my own service provider in my country without doing anything, is it factory unlocked phone?” he says “ofcourse no problem with that” guess what same problem with you… if im not too away from usa i just want to get there and throw this brick to his face… i bought this s**t two weeks ago and still waiting for jailbreak… and i dont have any hope… it seems we wont use this phone…
I got an iphone from USA paied for it 765 $ and it came 4.0.2 , does it need to be activated or is it international ? how can i find out that , soz guys im a noob but still wana know what to do exactly so i get it working .
Well i baught 1 2 hours ago for $760 as well and its locked for AT&T use only so u jus need to JB then unlock it when its available, but i asked them @ the store and they told me that i wont require an activation AT&T sim card, hope i could help
Through my understanding and reading online, the only thing we can do (this refers to people who bought the phone from the US) is wait for version 4.1 .. we upgrade the phone with that version, and then a jail break should be available for that.. i don’t think 4.0.2 is going to have a jb for iphone 4…

some of internet sites (like iphone.unlock.no) says they can manage to jailbreak os4.0.2 for iphone 4. do we trust them? are they real or fool us? do you know anything about it?

You have to wait for version 4.1 (releasing today 8th Sep)
upgrade and then jail break. (jail break should be available soon)
the devteam as they say does not want to get into a battle with apple for every version that they update.

dev team said do not upgrade it to 4.1 it is a trap. so i hope new jailbreak for ios 4.1 will work for you… really icant get the point also. they say do not upgrade it to 4.1 and then they announced that jailbreak for ios4.1 is coming…

Actually iMessage automatically detects iOS 5 users and there is not any option to switch between Text Message and iMessage.
