White Cydia Icon Fix after Jailbreak – Fix

Jailbroken on iOS 4.3.3 and having Cydia with White Icon. Here is a quick fix for white Cydia icon Fix after jailbreak problem . Please Note that Method 1 will only work if tapping on the white icon launches Cydia . If it doesn’t work , read Method 2 below . Method 1 :

Steps to Fix White Cydia Icon :

Launch Cydia
Tap on Manage tab and select Cydia Installer as shown in the image below.
Reinstall it and after the device is restarted , Cydia will show its original Icon .

Method 2 :

This works in some cases . Reinstall jailbreak through Redsnow latest version . Just un-check “Install Cydia” so that there is no package conflict while re-jailbreaking and check “Just boot Tethered” option to get Cydia . Image shown below .
