Today , the 23rd of October 2012, will see the launch of yet more Apple products including the long-awaited iPad Mini , 13-inch Retina display Macbook, an updated Mac Mini and possibly even some updated iMacs thrown in there for good measure .
The invites sent to the press and select journalists used the tagline ‘we’ve got a little more to show you’. This tantalizing titbit is most likely in reference to the iPad mini, while not a completely new device, will definitely be the focal point of the event. Although if the rumors of the iMacs are true too then they certainly threaten to steal some of the limelight.
Expected Product Release during the event :
- The iPad Mini, a smaller 7.9 inch version of the iPad, is rumored to contain either an A5 or A6 chip, have the new Lightening connector, an iPhone-esque aluminum back and, of course, be much thinner and lighter than all its predecessors. Update : iPad Mini Review coming up next .
- The Mac Mini is expected to come with more choice of storage and power with up to twelve different choices of configuration being cited as a possibility.
- Long awaited has 13-inch Retina Macbook been after Apple released the 15-inch version earlier this year and is guaranteed to receive a very warm welcome. Update : MacBookPro review coming up next .
Event Timings :
The chances of Apple allowing a live stream of the event is highly unlikely, however, there is still a way to ensure you don’t miss any of the action by watching a live blog of the event. To find out when the event starts in your timezone go to this website.
All of these websites are gearing up and preparing for this live event so if you don’t want to miss any of the action then be ready to tune into the live blogging to be among the first to see Apple’s latest releases. If it is just impossible for you to watch the live blogging then don’t feel too disheartened, Apple always upload their keynote straight afterwards so as soon as you have gotten back from work, school, woken up or finished that first date then you can go on to Apple’s Event Page to see what you missed.
Should Apple allow a live stream of this event (however unlikely this may be it’s much better to be prepared ! ) take a look at Twit Live TV and CNET LiveStream. If anyone else knows of a good site to watch a live blog, or even a live stream, please share it below in the comments section – we want to hear your thoughts.
