Use iPhone Headphone as Shutter Release Switch

In iOS 5 Apple added the functionality to use the Volume Up key as a Camera button for the iPhone . But not many users know that you can also connect and use the iPhone headphone and use the “+“key as a shutter release button (shown in the image below).
Although you cannot get far and use it as a wireless remote , it gives much stability when taking images at low light avoiding camera shake . Remote shutter release cables are generally best used with a tripod or iPhone stand which you can find here .
