Could this possibly be the worst iPad accessory ever ? Or is it, in actual fact, quite simply the best? You decide. It’s called the iPotty and it was unveiled at CES 2013 in Las Vegas by manufacturers CTS Digital. They claim it will help with potty training. It’s a nice brightly colored plastic potty with, wait for it, an iPad dock stand. So, how about it folks? Potty train your kids with an iPad. According to CTA Digital, in the near future there will even be some iPotty apps, that will help your child to learn as he or she goes.
There are quite a lot of questions that this accessory brings to mind. Can the iPad be protected against splashes? Or anything else for that matter. Would you really want an iPad anywhere near your child’s potty? And, what are we doing here? Training a child to use the potty or training him to use an iPad ?
Of course, everybody will have their own opinion on how useful this accessory is, or not as the case maybe. I guess the real answer will come in how many of them actually sell when they do go on sale. According to CTA Digital, the accessory will be available by March and is compatible with the iPad 2, 3 and 4. It will retail for $39.99 on Amazon and elsewhere, although no other stores have been named.
