The Galaxy SIII, one of Samsung’s flagship models, only made its appearance around 7 months ago. Today, it is still one of the hottest and best Android handsets available to consumers, far exceeding expectations. Like Apple, Samsung do not tend to hang around when it comes to launching new devices and its now looking likely that a new Samsung phone is to be revealed in 2013.
The CES show takes place early in the new year and rumor has it, or rather Samsung tell us (in a roundabout way) that this is the time and the arena for the unveiling on the new Galaxy S IV. The news was revealed on the Samsung blog that people should be ready for January, in specific the 8th to the 11th. These just happen to be the dates that the Consumer Electronics Show is going to be held on. Rumor had the original unveiling as being made at the Mobile World Congress in February 2013 but this seems to have been sidelined in favor of January.
Details of the Galaxy S IV are scarce although it has been mentioned that it may have an “almost unbreakable display”. However, as with all new devices, only time will tell us what is planned although we can only hope that the new phone matches up to its predecessors.
