they ask for DFU mode not recovery mode
if not greenposion , some other tools require you to enter dfu mode , or someone cant get their device out of receovery mode , this tool is for them …
How do I avoid doing that? I am not great with this stuff and I don’t want to make an irrepairable error. I dont even know what DFU mode is.

I tried to download the RecBoot utility and my computer told me it was corrputed??? I can’t seem to find a working RecBoot anywhere.

Hi I tried it to exit recovery mode of my ip4 but it just goes back to recovery mode after a couple of reboot tries. Please help im worries that I made a irrepairable error!!! I JB this with limerain a week ago & all went well until I went to the limerain app to install cydia. all of a sudden all app icons turned white & the phone hanged. When I turned it ff & on it does not rebbot, only the apple logo appears then after a while the connect to itunes icons appers. PLEASE HELP!!

For all those guys stuck on DFU mode or recovery mode or on the apple screen simply reset your ipod (home + power) and then run tiny umbrella and simply click exit mode
