Mention the word ‘smartphone’ and people automatically think of Apple, Samsung or maybe even Nokia. However, despite impressive sales records none of them has managed to do what Oppo, Chinese phone company have done. First they launched the thinnest ever smartphone, followed by the thinnest ever quad-core smartphone. Now they are back, with something even better.
It’s called the Oppo Find 5 and it has some pretty impressive features, including :
- 5” Screen
- Full HD 1080p display @ 441ppi
- Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 PRO processor
- 13 megapixel rear camera that shoots not only full HDR photos but video as well at an enormous 120 fps
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB internal storage
- 2500mAH battery
- Android 40102 Jellybean
For people who use the Chinese Twitter, Sino Weibo, there is still the ability to follow your friends but, instead of searching to find them on the site, users can simply tap their devices together. With the addition of Dirac Audio Technology, used by Rolls Royce and Bentley, the only thing that seems to be missing is a micro SD slot.
With specs like these set to make an appearance maybe the likes of Apple and Samsung need to start looking at what they are doing. The Oppo Find 5 is set to be released early in 2013 with a price tag of $499.
