2. When i boot by redsnow it lost my carrier means not unlocked by gevey sim

they will give u ERROR 3194
go to ur drivehere u save windows>system32>etc>host>open host by word pad when u open it just down delet all ip
after open again itune then restore
it will start restore after they give u again error 1013

ur iphone show u itune logo
so open fixrecovery then put ur device in dfu mode becarefull this dfu mode not like othrs its just little diffrent u press ur power button quicly

Hi dear this is not that difficult please put your sim to which the iphone is locked and simply connect it to itunes and the itunes will activate the iphone but you will only be able to use the sim to which the iphone is unlocked.

I had 4.3.3 before all I needed to do is activate your wifi and go to jailbreakme.com to jailbreak your phone and then unlock it with my gevey sim pro everything works perfectly until my husband upgraded the iphone 4 to 4.3.5 now jailbreak is not working only unlock works.

went through the jailbreak process several times with redsnow it looks like it completes the process but then ends up back on the screen with the itunes logo and the usb plug on the phone screen

Since I failed the jailbreaking of my Iphone 4 , it doesn’t want to go on anymore, he doesnn’t reakt to the power button. It’s the second time this happened to me but the first time after one hour it started to work again.Have you got an idea of how i could fix this problem?

It’s pretty simple u want to jail break ur device
Ok it mean u can do it dfu mode
First connect ur USB to ur device then shutdown ur device
After ur device is fully off (press power button then quickly press home button) dnt remove finger from any power or home button just keep hold after holding ur device restart and then remove finger from power button keep holding after they start work

Then it will start procedure if he show u some error like 3194 error just go to ur windows/system/driver/etc/host(open with notepad see down some ip is written delet all ip then save and ppen again iTunes same procedure
After it will be back to 4.3.3 if he hive u another eror 1013 it’s work good

I have iphone 4 version 4.3.5 is it possible to jailbreak. I did with redsnow and it worked. I tried to do some themes but it did not take winterboard wanted me to reboot device after install. But if I reboot it will freeze the device and I will have to go to itunes to reinstall. Any suggestions or pointers appreciated.

Everyone is confused with iphone 4, 4.3.5, Gevey supreme plus, does not work, jailbreak is thr ight solution, who knows. If you need to use iphone with other carriers than stay away from 4.3.5 till some solution come out, if you have older version than do not go to itunes, it will update to 4.3.5 and you are doomed. Does Gevy Ultra works? but than if you drop signal or turn off your phone, you will go through all the steps again and again. If I use AT&T sim, will they automatically change my plan to iphone plan, which is more expensive plan. Yes original Gevey will unlock, since 4.3.5 cannot be jailbreak, if you turn your iphone off than you have to go through unlock steps again.

2 error 3194 fix by ur windows folder-driver-eyc(host) And 1013 it will fix by fixrecovery or new refsnow 0.9.b1
It’s easy just go to ur windows folder
System32-driver-etc-(host)open with notepad
When u open it see down at the bottom of if page some ip address Is written delet all ip address
But be care full not delet these sentence( loction name……….127.0.0.1 ::1 local host.
Delete every thing after this hints
Then click save and restart ur pc it will fux ur 3194 error

No it will update ur basband if u downgrade 4.3.3 it eillfowngrade only firmware If u want bans and u will use tiny umbrella by ssh blobs it will downgrade ur basband 4.3.3

With cydia, you jailbreak the phone, to unlock you need Gevey sim, if you have iphone 4, others can add if you have iphone 3GS, how to unlock. What version firmware you have on iphone?
I moved from the US to The Netherlands and brought with me an iphone 3 (4.2.1 and 05.15.04) and and iphone 4 (4.3.5 and 04.10.01). They’re both AT&T and I’d like to be able to use them out here on Vodafone. I’m not the most tech-savy guy, but I can definitely follow instructions. Are these phones usuable out here? But when I follow your instructions it tells me it is not supported for my device and when it goes to look for alternates it says safari cannot display page. any advise?

I’ve downloaded the tethered jailbreak from redsnow the untethered version is not available for my iOS 4.3.5 ( it’s only been 6 months now). I’m in India on business for a year and my company has provided me with a local sim card. When I put the sim in my phone it says invalid sim even though the jailbreak is supposed to unlock my phone so I can do just that. Please help
