Freaking cool, can’t wait till smart phones actually get capabilities like this. Mini projector in a phone. Why not?

  3. Asaf says:

There was a device which connected to smart phones of old (Treo) which projected such a keyboard.
This was to expensive and probably the reason why it didn’t fly.
I once saw a concept computer using modules: video projector, keyboard projector, mouse and CPU. All modules other than the mouse where stick like standing brushed aluminum. Very small which could all be put in a cigarette box and then in the shirt pocket. They all connected wirelessly (power too?)
So the technology is there, just needs to be price justifiable.

What was that projection being projected on? I can see that working but not in the air just on the surface.
