iPhone 5 Production Started – Report

According to an update from Japanese blog Mocotakara , iPhone 5 production has already started . It is expected that Apple will reveal iPhone 5 this fall along with iOS 6 . To meet the huge public demand of the iPhone , parts of the device is being assembled in manufacturing plants in Foxconn , China . This report indicates that the 6th generation iPhone could be released as early as September 2012 .

Macotakara blog also reported that the back panel of the iPhone 5 which is in production have an aluminum surface which is partially covered with glass giving it a two-tone effect. It was widely speculated that Apple is planning to move the second microphone to the back for improved audio reception during video recording .
As known to us , the lead time between production and launch for the iPhone is approximately two months which make the release date sometime around September this year with no official announcement yet .
