For those who are itching to jailbreak their iOS 6s or their new iPhone 5s will be happy to hear that David Wang, A.K.A Planetbeing, the renowned jailbreaker, who managed to Jailbreak his iPhone 5 on the day of release has managed to get Cydia tweaks to work on his iPhone 5 .

Yesterday he tweeted :
Upgraded the #failbreak with a kernel exploit so tweaks actually work on iPhone 5. :D Almost a full tethered JB, though need dev account.
A failbreak, the hackers version of a jailbreak, is one that is not released to the public but essential as planetbeing explains:
These exploits are valuable for discovering new ones in the future, so it’s nice to keep them and release only the good ones.
Planetbeing goes on to say how he Jailbreaks iPhones because he likes the puzzle of it and the mental stimulation he gets from breaking into the code.
It’s very engrossing. It’s kind of like doing a very complicated Sudoku or a crossword but it’s like 10 times harder. It’s just entertaining to be able to use your brain in that way. It’s really the only reason I do it.
Let’s hope it stays as challenging otherwise we might have to say goodbye to one Jailbreaking’s best hackers .
Wang also said :
We still have a few tricks up our sleeves
In reference to a few kernel exploits that could be used for the Jailbreak. No ETA have been announced for the release of the Jailbreak, but let’s hope its not too long to wait . Hoping that Comex has now left Apple , he may join iPhone Dev Team to jailbreak Apple’s latest phone.
