Update : Apple has reportedly fixed the Corona untethered jailbreak exploit in iOS 5.1 . If you have not upgraded your iPhone 4S , iPhone 4 to iOS 5.0.1 , you should do it now before the next iOS update is released .

My iphone 4 just got stolen 2 days ago and I was unable to get it back, and now I doesn’t know whether or not I should get iphone 4s, I mean I really doesn’t know when the jailbreak will be out, it had been quite long since the days 4s was release… should I get 4s?

I had setup and I knew where is it, but I couldn’t find which idi0t took it.
It only can locate the area where the phone is located but it cannot locate the idi0t, though I play sound but still can’t hear because it’s a busy street.
But anyway, I had lock the phone and this idi0t can’t use and sell, so now the batt is flat, I could not locate it, but hopefully I can jailbreak my 4s soon…

I just hope an UNLOCK will soon come out for Iphone 4. I am still stuck using my HTC Sens for almost two months now. Too bad I tried to experiment my wife’s Iphone too and same thing happened. Now we’re both stuck, locked in at&t. LOL. Please, hurry with the unlock

Did you not say that a week ago, two weeks ago, a month ago, two month ago….as a matter of fakt, was it not just a week or so away since the release og 5.0 and then just a week after 5.01? What when 5.1 is coming out, just another week or so?

Dude! I’m sure that if this jailbreak works on the iPhone 4S, it’ll also work on the iPad 2! I’m in the same situation as you are, and as far as I understood, both iDevices have the same processor (or something in them) called A5! So, for the moment hang in there! There’s still hope for us! Cheers.

If anyone want a iPhone 4 locked to at&t, i sale it.
Since no iPhone has been unlocked since BB 2.10, a year and a half ago, since nobody is working on any unlock, there is not really any reason to believe that the current BB gets unlocked.
You can sell your phone or simply use an AT&T SIM to use it.
If you like to use another provider, why did you buy the AT&T version? Just get it with the provider you like.
i leave the states, and now i m in portugal so here the iphone will go to trash.
Well, you normally do not commit for a two year contract when you know that you leave the states. If you have the latest BB you must have bought the phone in the last few weeks. Everything before you could unlock via a Gevey card.
Sending a iPhone4 into the trash is your decission, but as it works perfectly with all funktions except the GSM part, rather strange. You can use it as GPS device, iPod, TV, Phone (via VoIP) SMS and Skype mashine, short, everything but one single funktion, GSM telephony. You find, that that funktion is the least one used on the iPhone. I myself come to about 20mins in calls a month, everything else goes over VoIP, email, viber, skype ect. All of that works fine on your phone.
Alternativly, put it on ebay, it should be gone in 2 days.

What about iPad 2? Can we assume since it worked on iPhone 4S with A5 processor, this jailbreak will work on iPad 2 with the A5 processor as well? I don’t want to update from iOS 4.3.3 jailbroken to iOS 5.0.1 and get stuck without a jailbreak just because iOS 5.1 is coming out soon and I was scared into updating. Make sense?
can anybody tell me the exact instructions on how to jailbreak my iphone 4,i’ve been to a bunch of websites but none will just let me jailbreak it.i dont know how to download anything like redsnow or anything like that… i need exact explicit instructions like the exact correct websites and things like that. somebody plz help me
People did U hear something about unlocking Iphone via some Beta version, I mean they are for developers so there must be more options!?

We all love tips, so hopefully I can help eliminate an issue some of you may have had.
I tried jailbreaking my 4S on my mac and it failed the first two times. Flabbergasted, I kept trying and eventually discovered what was causing it. If you have a PASSCODE on your device, it won’t allow Absinthe to communicate with your device upon reboot. The Absinthe icon was installed which made it originally appear to succeed (with minor hiccups along the way) but it won’t jailbreak the device.
Those of you with issues, make sure your passcode is disabled. Hopefully that helps you ipad 2 users. Thanks again Dev Team, your work makes my life among others less of a constricted software nightmare!
