Iphone 4 Jailbreak has been released only a few hours after i have posted about possible jailbreak announcement today. The iPhone Dev Team has released a free jailbreak method for iPhone 4 users running iOS 4 / 4.0.1 .

This is the worlds first Iphone 4 jailbreak solution offered through JailBreakMe . This iphone 4 jailbreak requires no download to your PC and it can be completed directly from your Iphone 4 using Mobile Safari. We are testing the authenticity of this news and making sure this things works on our Iphone 4.
Update 1 : The New Jailbreak worked Successfully on my Iphone 4. I am in the process of writing a brief tutorial for doing the process.

This process is really so simple, really, i will have a try ASAP,thanks for The iPhone Dev Team, i need not to pruchase apps on app store,i can enjoy my iphone freer,ahahaha, but but if it is at risk? for example,whether it will have a effect on the Software operating speed and the program property on ihpone itself or not?Who knows? I FOUND SULUTION TO 4.0.1 iphone 3gs problem!!! restore iphone with cydia go to safari before u do anything else try to jailbreak it with ur 3g/2g net this works!!=)
Hi Just Jailbroke my iPhone 4. it went smoothly but i cant get cydia to work msg

well my 1st jailbreak completed successfully mms and facetime working and no bugs to report, cydia is a bit of a maze, and very slow at the min but keep trying it will refresh, but it holds some wonderful things
does this works on iphone 3gs with the new bootrom?

I’ve just managed to jailbreak my iPhone 4 (running iOS 4.0.1) and have successfully SSH’d into it to change a message tone. However, MMS appears to have stopped working (not sure about FaceTime yet). Are there any fixes or workarounds for MMS?
Never mind, the settings had changed so I changed it back to what it use to be and MMS is working fine!
How do you get the messaging ringtone to work?
You have to install OpenSSH through Cydia and then use Cyberduck (Mac) or WinSCP (Windows) to SSH into your iPhone and replace one of the existing .caf files. If you do a Google search you’ll find lots of guides on how to do it (don’t want to post a link to another site on here).

it worked like a charm used iphone brower to change sms tones facetime works mms works sometimes cyndia times out but always works love it
hey guys, ive jailbroken my iphone 4, all working same new… but when i wanna change logo’s, like wifi logo, network logo, signal bars… i download them, fine got winterboard, make the changers, respring my iphone… theyre still the same!!! ive downloaded loads! none of them work!!! why? what am i doing wrong!!!!???? anyone help?

Dont think your doing anything anything’s wrong,with the new iphone 4 comes the new retina screen so i’d imagine certain .png files are going to need modified before they work(in other words we may need to wait untill new iphone 4 icons are released to download)Youn can’t change the battery charging screen either……”All good thing come to those who wait”
