Apple seem to to be making everything smaller. Even the extra half inch of screen on the iPhone 5 couldn’t stop them from hacking of the weight and depth elsewhere to make it the lightest and thinnest iPhone ever, and they seem to be doing exactly the same to the iPad by introducing the iPad mini. Exactly like the iPad, just smaller.
This mini model has been released to compete with the 7-inch tablet market and the likes of the Kindle Fire HD, the Galaxy Tab and the Google Nexus. Already this new device has come in for some criticism because it is competing with budget tablets yet is still more expensive then it’s competitors, however, if you’re buying Apple then you are always going to pay more so we will leave the pricing issues at that and move on to the run down of the iPad Mini’s features.

It may be small in size but this 7.9 inch tablet can hold it’s own, especially against the iPad 2. Its camera is much better then its full sized cousin as is its video recording. The addition of the LTE technology and the super fast connectivity promises to make this mini iPad a huge seller.
