Its been a bit quiet on the jailbreak developers front for a while now, partly due to the difficulty in producing an untethered iOS 6 jailbreak. However, there are loads of great tweaks and apps on the Cydia store and the concept designers are keeping busy with producing some truly innovative ideas for accessing and using some of the more common system settings. Once such concept is called LockScreen Drawer.
It’s not an unusual design; users of iOS 5 and above will probably recognize it as being one that Apple initiated, the scrubber aesthetics needed to drag down collapsed icons. The concept designer has used this basis but instead of dragging down he has provided a neat and tidy little drawer that contains icons for system settings. The drawer can be accessed with a one finger gesture and is accessible from the lock screen.
It isn’t known how many icons can be displayed; the concept shows 4 but one would assume that a scrolling system would be available to access more of them. It also isn’t known if user can add to, delete or change the icons to suit their own preferences. However, it isn’t unheard of for basic concepts to turn into fully functional best-selling packages and this could very well be one of them.
