iPhone Dev Team has announced that they have Snowbreeze and Redsnow for iOS 5 Jailbreak ready before release . Recently updated versions of both the jailbreak tools (Redsn0w 0.9.9 b3 & Sn0wbreeze 2.8 beta 8 ) were released to jailbreak iOS 5 (Gold Master) final beta version . i0nic confirmed in a tweet that iOS 5 untethered jailbreak is already covered and you can expect the release as soon as iOS 5 is available for download (12th October 2011).
Chronic Dev Team earlier announced in the Jailbreak Fest that they have discovered 5 new userland jailbreak for iPhone 4 and iPad 2 . Userland jailbreak are temporary and Apple can fix them by releasing patches in the form of iOS updates .
