Update : Soon after we published this post , Apple released iOS 4.3.1 firmware for all supported devices . You can upgrade your device directly from your computer on iTunes or download iOS 4.3.1 ipsw files .
Problems detected in iOS 4.3 will soon get a fix with a new release coming in 2 weeks . iOS 4.3.1 firmware is expected to be released in the next 1 -2 weeks . Following are the updated features .
Changes on iOS 4.3.1 Firmware :
- Battery drainage problem fixed on iOS 4.3
- Baseband upgrade on iPhone 3GS and iPad *
- Fixed issues with NTLM authentication used on apps and websites
- Fixed problems with the Springboard and Gyroscope
- iPad 2 Jailbreak vulnerability fixed
* Unlockers must stay away from the update as it will upgrade their unlocked modem baseband .
