It has been confirmed from reliable sources that Apple is planning another firmware upgrade next month to fix performance issues with Iphone 3G over multitasking . According to an iphone user , the issue has been neglected in iOS 4.0.1 when Apple was more concerned over fixing the antenna strength bar display on iphone 4 (iOS 4.0.1) , and the other hurried update iOS 4.0.2 to patch JailbreakMe .

The release is expected some day near the Media Event next month when Apple will be launching its rumored next generation ipod touch 4 with front / rear camera and iTV (Apple TV) .
