I jailbrakeded and now my phone number is gone and I can´t call anybody or send sms. what should I do? I can´t even restore the device with itunes

I had the exact same problem and nothing would work when I tried to restore from iTunes it would not restore at all. What I did find worked was using tiny umbrella using that to lick the iPhone out of DMU or what it’s called mode and then restored that way and everything is back to normal. I won’t be using this greenpoision jb anymore and did have high hopes for it but strongly advise not using GP. Limerai. Did work and was a bit easier to follow with button timing etc hope this helped at all
Yeah I cannot even get my phone back using tiny umbrella I will keep at it.

hi i upgraded my iphone 4 to ios 4.1 .. no it shows no sim installed window on the homw screen so i am wondering if i would be able to jailbreak with gp or is there any other process

use ultrasnow to unlock old baseband , new baseband wait till november release of iOS 4.2
To everybody who has trouble:
I ran GP as admin and prevented itunes from opening when i connected iPhone – that did the trick for me!

I am curious to how come GreenPoison didn’t make the JB process to become available on the phone itself like jailbreakme? I unfortunately don’t have a computer so I am unable to do a plug in jailbreak. Do you know if there will be another self-installing site like jailbreakme?
I have sucsesfully JB my iphone 4 using the new release from greenpoison, but when i click on cydia it comes up with 2 Essential upgrade, one relates to Base Struture and the other Ulkit tools, do i install both of these or will it effect my JB installation?

Many thanks for the team who made this possible. It worked perfectly fine with me. The only little hitch is getting the timing of the buttons pressing right, and after that, just as described and my iphone4 on 4.1 is jailbroken. I had the 4.0.2 version, saved my shsh with tinyumbrella, upgraded to 4.1 in itunes and then jailbroke perfectly and installed cydia.
Can anyone advise please i have JB using latest greepoison but when i click on cydia it asks me install 2 essential updates, i relating to Base struture the other ILKIT TOOLS. Please can anyone tell me if i upgrade these will it effect my JB Installation.Please someone advise, help,thank you

i tried using limera1n & green pois0n a dozen times to no avail. using XP with BootCamp on a current gen MBP i7
Then I installed iTunes, restarted and watched this video. It worked!!!!

I have 3GS and upgraded from 3.12 to 4.1. I tried to greenpois0n and it would not work several times. Finally I read a post that said the new version rc4 would not work but the old version would rc3. So, I tried it and guess what… Now I have a jail broken 3GS running 4.1.
Where to get gp rc3, cos the website only has rc4. And you say 3gps can only use rc3….:(

hey its not working for me, do i need firmware 4.1 cuz i have 4.02
i have 4.0.2 and i want to upgrade to 4.1.But its showing only 4.2 to upgrade..SO how can I upgrade to 4.1 and not 4.2 thru iTune so i can JB my phone
