Trying to restore my iPhone to a date as defined in iTunes as after I might have moved around some key important files because I fu** by removing big boss from the source menu. Really would rather not start from scratch because my contacts listed in my text history is very valuable to me. Had TinyUmbrella up before the incident and even says or lists 3 saved sshs’s (where they are who knows and I now have no portal to cydia I can access because Redsnow and Absinthe both say the phone is already jailbroken which it was so then how the hell am I supposed to remove ALL of cydia ? So complicated .
I do know that there is a solution. Any suggestions ? This all started because iMessage app didn’t stop with their ads after I downloaded the full version. at least not instantaneously .

iTunes saves your backup at the following location of your computer .
~Library/Applications Support/MobileSync/Backup

Hi there , I want to jailbreak my iPhone 4 (5.1.1). My main concern is the back up and restoring of the “official” data. Basically, once I jailbreak my iPhone and keep using it and keep syncing and backing up with iTunes, I want to be sure that I can restore it from the latest iTunes back up (that is to say after jailbreaking) and have a fresh iPhone with all my latest data (contacts, sms, etc.) without any trace of the jailbreaking. Is this possible? Or what is there a procedure to obtain this ?

Hi’ I have two questions if someone can help I will be thankful. 1st , can I save my apps and game over iCloud ? If yes then give me tutorial. 2nd , I want to re install window in my laptop but I am worried about my all jailbreak apps and games that if I reinstall my iTunes and when I will synchronize my iPhone then my games n apps will lost. So is there any way to save iTunes library permanently and whenever I want I just copy library and get my stuff .
