My iphone was on ios 4.0.2 , purchased from Apple on that software [factory installed]. When I used TinyUmbrella to save the SHSH blobs, two times it told me the could not be saves, and then one time it said they were. I tried using Pwnage 4.1.2 to jailbreak and install ios 4.1.2. Everything seemed to be going fine, but then when iTunes read Restoring iPhone Software, it just hung there for hours.
I finally became impatient and unplugged the phone. I tried again, and same thing happened. Now I’m just trying to get my phone back, so I just selected Restore in itunes w/out holding alt/option and it hangs there too. I started receiving the message, “The iphone could not be restored. This device isn’t eligible for the requested build.”
How do I get this fixed? Is it possible?

Hi sir, my 3gs can’t restore/update any ios version with itune. but i can create custom ipsw and restore with itune. my BB 6.15 is it that issue. sometime i ran the tiny umbrella fix recovery mode. so after wait in just dialing mode. after that can’t do any thing. can you help me please. i will want update with ios original firmware.
Please help me.
