I bought an iphone 4S which is on 5.01. The “helpful” sales guy downloaded but did not install the 5.1 update. I successfully jailbroke the phone on 5.0.1, but every time I reboot or respring, the phone gives a notice that it will update to 5.1 in a 10 second countdown unless I click “later”. This just a nightmare waiting to happen. How can I get rid of this ? Can I somehow delete the downloaded update ? Would a rest of “All content and settings” get rid of it ? Is that even possible on a jailbroken phone ? and would that somehow auto install the 5.1 update ? I f the “reset” would get rid of it would there be any issue re-jailbreaking ?
