I have a jailbroken 3G iPhone. Version 3.0 (7A341, Modem firmware 04.26.08. I recently did some “essential updates” in Cydia (which I haven’t done in a long, long time). Since then, I am no longer getting a text message notification (pop up or sound notification) when receiving new text messages. Instead, I have to open up my text messages to see if I’ve gotten.
Help please!

press general>reset>reset all settings. this should work if not you got to restore your iphone
ps nothing gets deleted when u reset settings ur phone numbers,apps will still be there its just the settings
If I “reset all settings,” will that undo the jailbreak and the unlock I had to do to use T-Mobile??
