Hi, I was trying to unlock my Iphone 4 that has Cydia installed. It has the 4.1 version and 2.10.04 firmaware. I followed the steps and didn’t unlock. I went through the process twice.
So finally, I upgraded the firmware to 4.3.4 with the 4.10.04 firmware. While I was going through the process , the itunes pop up the message that it needs restoration and followed it and I ended up with the screen having the itunes usb plug with the message” No Sim Card Installed and Insert valid SIM with No Pin Lock “.
I used another carriers sim card and message indicated that no sim installed or on my mac itunes it says that the sim not valid.
Please help this is an expensive paper weight if I cannot get it working.
