Hi, Recently I upgraded my jailbroken iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1 which was working on iOS 4.3 earlier, and I hate myself for doing so. After upgrading I jail-broke it through redsn0w and rebooted it with the same tool. I was using gevey sim on it. Everything went well except now when I’ve upgrade to iOS 5.1, I’m not able to use any cellular service. I tried getting signal through old method to turn ON/OFF Airplane mode and then dialling 112 but no luck.
And when I searched on the net about it then I got to know that while upgrading my baseband also got upgraded to 04.12.01 which is not supported on Gevey SIM as of now. There is no option available on internet to downgrading iOS from 5.1 to any of the earlier versions of iOS without having SHSH blobs backup either on cydia server or on local computer. Hence I’m SOL. Now my iPhone has become iPod touch.
Please guys if you know any way through which by any chance if I can get my iPhone back in working condition then please share it. I’m so depressed and I need to get it done ASAP.
