I have been using safari web browser and it has been working ok, until yesterday. Now it will let me open Safari, but it freezes after that and it will not let me do anything. If I open a different page through google or something, it just freezes after it opens. I tried syncing it but it is the same thing.

This happened to me also. I could open links but nothing else in Safari worked . I have a 32GB Ipod Touch: updated to Software Version 4.2.1 . This is how i fixed mine :
1. Settings
2. General
3. Reset
4. Reset Network Settings
(it will ask for password if set). Wait till it has finished resetting.
Then:
1. Settings
2. Wi-Fi
3. choose a Network
it’s all Good
