Jailbreak Gone on Iphone 4 after Synchronization

Hi,

I installed JailbreakMe and Cyndia on my iPhone 4. All worked fine until I connected iPhone to computer – it got synchronized and I guess new software/firmware was installed.

After that, Cyndia vanished from iPhone. I was trying to Install JailbreakMe again – it downloads, but immediately after Safari crashes – just before showing “Jailbreaking…..Sit tight” screen. I was trying to download it several times, also from mirror (modmyi), but it crashes every time.

I’m thinking about restoring iPhone to factory settings, but I’d lose some valuable programs I installed from other iTunes account. Is there any other way to install JailbreakMe ?

    JailbreakME Stuck?

    Try the following steps:

    1. Go to Settings -> Safari and then tap “Clear Cache”. Tap again to confirm the cache clean up.

    2. Tap “Clear History” to clean up the browser history

    3. Tap “Clear Cookies” to clean up the cookies

    4. After you clean up the browser cache/history/cookies, reboot the iPhone

    5. Once rebooted, point the mobile Safari to and try again.

    Stupid question but I am having the same problem and I tried trick by joachim but it did not work. I would have to restore but I dont know how to, I would appreciate your reply.

    If my OS version is too new how long do you think I will need to wait until it is available via JailBreak? Thanks. Rob

    I think therer won’t be a new jailbreak until OS 4.1 gets released, there’s no point really because the new firmwire (4.0.2) is the same as 4.0.1 except for the security issue.
    So my guess is that we’ll see the next jailbreak a few weeks after 4.1 gets released

    i jailbrea my phone using green poison i got the loader app and installed cyndia but it’s not in my xmb and i can’t re install it cause it says it is already installed

    what do i do to get cyndia?
