I am having the same problem, jailbroke my new iPhone 4S and now itunes wont recognize my device all I get is that i need to do a restore point for it to work again, is there a problem between absinthe and itunes ? If anyone knows why this problem as occurred can u please comment back ?

i too have the same problem, i was searching for a solution to this and i have come across millions of such issues in the 4s models.
iphone 4s models are filled with bugs and issues.
better to buy a new Nokia Lumia.
