Is it Safe to Download iTunes 10 on Jailbroken Iphone

Hello, I have been watching the Apple Event on September 1st and the new iTunes (iTunes 10) looks great, but im worried that it might ruin my iPhone 4. Can you please tell me whether it is “Safe” to download iTunes 10.

    Although I am having a problem with the new iTunes 10: I cannot sync my music or movies. I can sync my ringtones, contacts, and photos, but no matter how much I try, no music or media. I am waiting for a callback from Apple later to see what the issue may be. I have an Iphone4 Jailbroken/Unlocked on ios4.
