Hi there, I am crazy to buy an iphone 5 but in India it costs me a lot. So can it be possible that with the help of my friend(who is in California now), I ask him to purchase Iphone 5(contract one) in USA and then he can give me that phone in India. If it is possible than will that phone work in India or what are the methods to unlock it and us it in India.

Getting an unlocked iPhone 5 is a better ideas as now iPhone was unlocked since iPhone 4 . iPhone 4S was unlocked using gevey Sim , and there is no guarantee that the iPhone 5 will be unlocked with Gevey . Read more about buying Cheap unlocked iPhone 5 .
