I recently tried to jailbreak my iphone 4s with “Absinthe” greenpois0n app and it appeared to be working well but when it got to the end all of my main apps were missing like the Phone app the Music, messaging, app store, and the itunes app. They were all gone.
Please help i cant use my phone anymore after jailbreak with Absinthe App ?

This happened to me also. I can’t find anything that helps on the internet so far. If anyone has a fix we would appreciate it. Thanks.
I have the same situation.. after push cydia icon.. most iphone origianl icons were gone..I can not do any setting!
Get sbsetting, restart springboard then everything is ok
The same thing happened to me. I clicked the cydia icon, and when it was done doing it’s thing, pretty much every apple app was gone. No SMS, phone, safari, settings, google maps, itunes, music…
The crazy thing is the cydia app is gone too. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Read and follow the onscreen instruction on this website properly before proceeding to jailbreak. User has nothing to do on the set while Absinthe program is running and jailbreaking. Get the windows version from GreenPOison.com direct. Restart your iPhone if apps are missing after jailbreak. I have no problem with the Absinthe on my iPad 2. It works fine after jailbreak….it’s great and I can start installing new apps and games too. Thanks a lot, man!
Followed instructions exactly, did nothing during Absinthe running, tried to restart MULTIPLE times to get missing icons/apps and still nothing.
It’s an obvious issue and not user error

I have the same issue. Ive tried several times. Reloaded….no icon and no jailbreak. It seems to restart/spring. Needing answer!
Facing the same d@mn trouble! Plus it’s a friends iPad so in deeeeeeep trouble!

robiwn, did you had a problem with your ipad 2 after jailbreaking and restart the device? all icons are now completely out of order or have a big gap on them. the worst part is when you try to load apps there is this little stripe on the very top of the apps looks like completely cr@p out.
Nope, I don’t have all this problem at all. I have restarted the ipad 2 and load nicely, nothing out of the ordinary. I did install sinfuliphonerepo, cydia stuffs after jailbreaking and then restarted my unit, it’s fine. Hope all user can jailbreak with no problem or when they release the upgraded version of Absinthe.
I had the same issue with my 4s 5.0.1. lost all the apple apps, only my old appstore apps remained.
i panicked and did a full restore!
fixed the issue…
going to try again tonight and hope for a better result. I would say that Absinthe will do a patch in a few weeks to support the issue.
