Hey guys !
This is critical . I got an iPhone 4 and after jailbreaking it the Cydia came out. But when I opened it there are loads of errors, And moreover when I turned it off my phone and trying to open it I’m stuck on apple logo. I’ve waited for ages and nothing’s happened. I already connected it on itunes but nothing’s come out ?
What should I do ? Please experts help me ! I would appreciate your help ! asap! thanks , Khen.

Hey I just fixed my iphone after 2 weeks I was stuck on recovery mode with iOS 4.1.2 with baseband 06.15 on iphone 3G. I tried “Just boot tethered right now“ [didn't help], I tried recboot to exit recovery mode [didn't help either], I tried custom restore iOS 4.2.1 [ itunes didn't recognize it ].
Then here are step you need to do on iphone 3G.
- Connect your device to itunes while it’s on recovery mode
- On windows hold shift key and click on restore and find 4.1 ipsw
- It will give you error 1015 please do not click on “ok” or “more info”
- Open Recboot and click on exit recovery
- Now it will show you emergency call option with battery signs, and time visibility. Which is a good news ; on my second device it actually brought me back to home screen.
- Open redsnow 0.9.6b5 and browse iOS 4.2.1
- Just choose cydia if baseband is already updated previously
- Turn off device follow the instructions on redsnow. Which is switch off device and bring it to DFU mode bla bla.
- You will have phone the way you want and go to cydia and install that thing to unlock.
To be honest I havent done that yet because I don’t have wireless at work but I am happy I got my phone back and functional. Please pass this info to many people as you can. I have seen a lot of posts when I was looking and people were looking for help. thanks

Hello everyone! I’ve had a weird problem with my iphone…i tried to update my jailbreak but it didnt work…so i tried to restore my iphone using a downloaded 4.3.3 firmware but at the beginning it wouldnt let me, giving me “error 3194″, but then i dont kno why by pressing the home button while restoring it worked (therefore i didnt use the procedure above). Now im stuck on emergency calls only! i have a 3gs 16gb UNLOCKED so i would really appreciate your help! Thank you!
10/26/2011 – Thank you, thank you! You were able to help me save my iPhone 3gs that was stuck in an infinite loop of an apple logo! I had jailbreaked with 4.3.1 and also at the same time upgrade to baseband 6.15.0.0. Phone never recovered after starting up Cydia.
Spent 4+ hours on this, your instructions were invaluable! Thank you again!
You are *** !!! ja ja ja and voided your warranty see you in the store again for your new Iphone ***
your wrong but, ok. hahaha you don’t know what your talking about
May work for I4 press power and home button at the same time wait and release power button (it’s a hard reset)
You are not in trouble. hold the power button and home button until screen is black and release. then press and hold the home button, connect to itunes while still holding the home button.(this places your iphone in recovery mode and allows itunes to wipe the phone clean and reinstall the firmware) .once phone is connected releae the home button. itunes will show a message and say that it has found an iphone in recovery mode. push restore and the phone will be restored to the original firmware 4.0 or 4.0.1. happened to me last night and it is a simple fix.
Hi there,

Hi,
I have iphone4 after jailbreak to i install a application through cydia, end of installing process it said to REBOOT DEVICE, i just press that, on that time onwards i can not able to access my phone. It shows only the apple icon with the black background. If i trying to switched off my phone is also not possible. If i connect through the iTunes I can not find my device on iTunes. Please help me troubleshoot this problem.I am waiting for your answer. Thanks to all my friends.
thanks alot it worked and now my iphone is back to normal thanks for the help
This happened to me and the funny issue here is if you hold the top button and home button the screen does black out but then comes right back to the logo. You have to hold it for a bit and then phone will fully shut off. Once thats done then simply hold the home button plug it in to iTune and restore. Then try again!! Don’t worry this isn’t a big deal….
this didnt work, it just goes back to being frozen at the logo after you turn it on again
hey mate, how did u get it working? i seem to be stuck on apple logo?
nevermind it did work. thanks
How Did Yuh Get it To Work?
WHAT DO YOU GUYS MEAN BY ITUNES WILL SHOW A MESSAGE? ITUNES STILL ISN’T DOING ANYTHING!? DO I NEED THE LATEST VERSION OF ITUNES?
I had phone stuck at apple logo screen to, but only after installing MY3G. I did a hard reset, still stuck. i put into recovery mode and started iphone restore. it goes through the whole process and then says iphone couldn’t be restored when checking firmware. any help would be great, thanks.
I have managed to solve my problem by accessing the host file in the system32 folder for pc. And deleting the last line that has apple in it and saving the file to overwrite the existing
Thanks mate this plan of yours worked for me as well as i was facing similar problem today.
Thanks for the help and keep updating new error corrections for iPHONE 4.
@ Salman
I am glad the forum was of your help .Keep visiting .
Paul , how do i access host ? please let me knw the process for PC n mac too .. thank you
can u plz tell me how you access the host file in the system32 i think i need to do the same but dont have a clue how to do it??
I am having the same problem with My3G. I have done it twice now, once with Limera1n and once with Greenposi0n. It has to be something with My3G, but it is a pain in the rear to have to fully restore when everything is actually working but the phone is stuck on the apple logo. I can even sync the phone in Itunes but the display stays at the apple logo. I thought I might be able to kick the phone pout of rcovery mode with Tinyumbrella, but that isn’t an option I can even access with the phone in this condition. I think I will redo this one last time and forget about My3G until they figure out what the problem is. I hope they can fix it quickly because I want to be able to use the programs I purchased with the phone.
I installed Cydia.
Now… I did the restore to factory settings and now my iPhone 4 is frozen with the Apple logo (and some very tiny white blips on the top right & left corners). As I/m typing this the screen when to black, but is now back to as described above.
– HELP!! I need to get my phone back.
exactly the same here, i’ve reset my iphone 4 and it’s stuck in the apple logo.
actually i haven’t use the phone, i’ve just bought it from ebay and turn it on to check that it’s ok then i made a rest and couldn’t do anything!!!
i don’t want to update it so. I NEED TO RESTORE IT TO THE SAME ISO VERSION PLEASE HELP!!
I had the same problem and it would go back to apple shortly after i turened it off. What i did to fix it is I held power and home together. For mine the apple came back up while still holding. Keep holding for another few seconds and mine went into recovery.
I also got this problem but only once i installed an app to change ringtones etc from cydia.
I too had to hold down the buttons and restore the phone. This did take a good 10 attempts though, in the end i found disabling my AV helped. The only problem i have now is that the phone has been restored to 4.0.2 so i cant jailbreak it now can i !?!?

Hi there! I’m having a problem with my 4g jailbroken, I can’t get out with the apple logo. Every time I switch it off it turns back. Help me please! asap!
After using jailbreakme, I upgraded Cydia’s recommended updates, then it made me restart iPhone. This gave me the neverending Apple logo problem.
I have not backed of my SHSH files. Can I restore back to 4.0.1, or must I restore to 4.0.2 ??
If you know, please respond! Thank you so kindly.
Dogger
My iPhone (bought at Apple Store in Canada on release day) is stuck on the Apple Logo. This is what I did before this happened:
- Jailbroke with jailbreakme (on 4.0.1)
- In Cydia, I clicked on “Makes Things Easy for Me”
- I noticed this message was displayed in Cydia’s main menu: “this iPhone has a pending TSS request”
- I then upgraded Cydia’s “recommended updates”
- When it was done, I clicked “restart iPhone”
That’s all, now I’m stuck at the Apple Logo screen.
What could have caused this?
How do I get my iPhone back to 4.0.1? Thank You kindly! I hope dearly to get some response.
I to had this problem. Waited two weeks to get my phone and had it for 2 hours before I bricked it. Then I spent the next six hours worried to death. I finally decided I would try a restore to factory defaults. However, my iTunes would start to download the OS and it would drop the connection at different points (Connect to update server has timed out). I got sick of this after about 4 hours, so I did a search online and found someone who had posted the iOS’. Downloaded it from there, connected the phone in recovery mode, held the shift key when I clicked restore, pointed it to the downloaded file and went to bed. When I got up all was great. THen a day or two later I discovered that both my phone and my girlfriends could no longer connect to an incoming FaceTime call. so I took a chance and took the phones into the apple store and I walked out with two brand new phones.
Whao !! That was AWESOME ….
Hi, have a jailbroken (jailbreakme) have an shsh file saved on sauriks servers ios 4.01, after installing some apz from cydia the phone started to behave bad and always went to recovery mode, so i restored the phone from the iphone settings and the phone has been stuck at the apple logo, cannot restore from itunes with a custom restore has changed the host file but nothing helps, i tryed everything out there i always get error 3194, some one please help.
Hi Zana,
How are things going ? Is there anything new for ur problem, solved or still waiting in UNSOLVED queue ?
Regards,
Fatos
I have an OTB 4.0.1 iPhone 4 ATnT locked.
jailbroke and unlocked it… was experiencing problems with MMS so… I went to Reset and erase iPhone via settings tab.
now the phone is stuck in apple logo and cant restore to 4.0.1 due to lack of SHSs blobs (when i “made my life easier using cydia, it only saved blobs for 4.0.2)
is there a way to restore to 4.0.1 factory settings without updating to 4.0.2?
Unfortunately not, Apple are forcing everyone to go to 4.0.2 whenever they get an opportunity.
Hi I jailbroke my iPhone 4 after it rebooted all it displays is the apple sign in the background I cannot switch it on or do anything with it now. What do i do ?
Thanks
Same thing hapend to me, i hade to update to 4.02 from itunes, now i wait for a new jb. If you find a solution tell me please.
Exactly same thing for me too, when in restoring Apple now force you to install 4.0.2 so waiting for 4.1 JB to be released. Hopefully soon.
DO NOT update a Cydia per the pop up message! Two seperate iphone 4′s have done this to me – After you reboot, your phone will just sit at the apple logo… until the batt is dead. IFF you have shsh stored no problem… but if you don’t, your’e screwed and will need to wait for 4.1 JB.
Using the reset feature from the iphone yields the same result… reseting clearly doesn’t play well with JB phones.
i just jailbreaked my iphone 4 with iOs 4.0.1 using the Jialbreakme. It instaled Cydia. After that, Cydia asked for an upgrade and i did it.
Then, my iphone was stucked in the apple logo. Tried to restore from itunes with a 4.0.1 firmware but itunes didn´t liked that. I had to restore and upgrade to iOs 4.1 to get my phone working again.
Bye bye jailbreak until another one comes out for 4.1
(should have read this last comment before…)
Dude , sont say bye bye . JB soule be released in Oct according to Dev Team Tweets
I have a iphone4 4.0.1 jb/
Tryed to reset and get mms working ..
now stuck on apple logo , iv not saved shsh and
itunes is giving me a 3xxx error dosent like my jb/fw im gussing
PLZ PLZ NEED HELP
I’ve tried it so many times. Pressing the power and home button then releasing the power while holding the home button, i connected to itunes but its not working. itunes cant detect my iphone4. im new at this. i just wanted to restore my phone. do i need to update my itunes?
So sweet! My iphone 3gs got frozen when i jailbroke it on 4.1
Hello everyone~
I have an iPhone 4, which is jailbroken & unlocked. It’s running OS 4.01/(or 4.02). Anyway, the camera was saying “Cannot Take Photo- there is not enough disk space…” So I selected the Reset option in Settings. When it rebooted, the Apple logo was stuck there forever!
Anyway, I put the phone in Recovery Mode & ran TinyUmbrella, BUT even though it says “This device is connected” & I can push the “Save SHSH” button, NOTHING happens!
Perhaps the previous owner saved the SHSH Blobs via Cydia. Can I check somehow? If so, can I retrieve them??? Any help will be MUCH appreciated!
Thanks & ciao!!!
You don’t need to do a full recovery using iTunes. I’ve jailbroken my iPhone using redsn0w (iOS 4.2.1). When I reboot the phone I also get stuck on the logo. Connecting the phone to my PC and starting redsn0w tethered reboot (and pressing power and hoe together) strarts my phone up again in tethered state with all apps still there!
hey Bruins3 i have the same problem i installed everything but when turn off and on it stays stuck in apple logo i run redsn0w and its successful just like you.
However does this mean i can turn my phone on and off in the streets if my computer is not near by?
Yeah, I had the same problem, and followed the steps: it worked.
However, everytime I turn it off and on again, it gets stuck on the apple loggo again. Does this mean that I can only turn my iphone on my computer? Is there any way to solve this problem?
Hi All
Had the same issue with stuck apple logo, will do some testing between essential or complete upgrades, Bruins3, Chris I also managed to re-run redsnow to get back to iOS but it’s going to be a pain if I need to attach iphone to comp everytime it reboots or runs out of battery. still digging.
I update my iphone 4 to 4.2.1 so i use redsnow works fine until switch off my phone it wont boot just stuck on apple logo
Ok this is what i do to get my phone back up running
Just follow Redsnow tut but this time I load (just boot tethered right now) once finish the process wola phone back up running this real a pain but i can leave with atleast i get to appreciates the free Apps lol.
As long as you make sure you don’t run out power or you got your computer with at all time to keep reload software when it happens again.
Do not take i repeat Do not take it to apple will invalidate your warrant DIY it.
I hope this help until the Guru’s comes out with sensible solution to this problem than mine lol .
This worked great! Thanks!!
All what you got to do is:
1. Unplug your iphone from computer.
2. Hold down home + power button until reboot with apple logo again however you keep pressing home and power buttons untill screen goes black. Now you got iphone switched off.
3. Open redsnow and get yourself to position where to choose “just boot tethered right now”
4. At this stage you need to plug cable into your iphone(that will start rebooting iphone again!!!) and go straight for DFU mode procedures. You need to do it very fast. Plug cable in—> click next on redsnow app—> go for DFU mode procedures and close redsnow when finished.
5. You should see not apple but pineapple logo instead and that get you back to jaibroken iphone.
Worked for me hopefully for you too.
My iphone 3gs has the pineapple logo show up when I boot tethered but then it goes away and the connect to itunes pops back up? What am I doing wrong?
thanks dude.. i thought it was A LOT deeper than that. i tried f**kin everything! what happened was i successfully jb’ed, rebooted with “just boot tethered right now” to fix cydia.. then what i did was start downloading my usual cydia apps, 1st was winterboard which requires u to reboot the device.. moral of the story is if at any time ur phone asks u to reboot the device, press the home button and reboot it urself with redsn0w as required for untethered devices.. what a pain in the a** tho! i just bought this iphone 4 and it came with 4.2.1 so i have no choice but deal with it for now…. thanks again bro!
I confirm with Pitt that this indeed does work. Once you select “boot tethered now”. You will be brought back to “safe mode” on your springboard. From there just open Cydia and delete what ever put you in that predicament in the first place. Reboot and iPhone saved from hours of “restore and reload”, re-jailbreak, replace Cydia apps. Two minutes versus two days of nonsense.
My iphone 3gs has the pineapple logo show up when I boot tethered but then it goes away and the connect to itunes pops back up? What am I doing wrong?
Which phone do you have? Which Firmware did you use? Which Baseband are you on? and what did you use to jailbreak?
Thank you!
i have a iphone 4 4.1 firmware that i took to a guy that said he could unlock….he was unsuccessful and now the screen is stuck in recovery mode. when i plug it into itunes it ask me to restore it and update to 4.2—-please advise—i am guessing 4.2 would be a terrible choice-it won’t allow me just to restore-should i just leave it alone until the 4.1 jb is available or do i have no choice but to upgrade to 4.2? thanks
Thanks for that info SufianAli

I am really Helpless …
Hi guys my friend bought it unlocked and jb for full price, but he didn’t have a computer so he gave it to me so that I could sync up some music. Everything was cool, did a backup prior and everything was successful. Then later on I was browsing cydia turned the screen off to do something else. A few mins later I turned it back on and it was stuck on the unlock screen? I got it to turn off by holding home and power for a looong time, but now its just stuck at the apple logo. If I sync it with itunes will I loose the jailbreak? Is this freezing bug common on iphones? Da** lol I think I’m too used to android where an update.zip from the memory card gets you back to a working state. Any ideas? Its 4.2.. thanks in advance.
Thanks for the help, it worked!
My Iphone 4 after i jailbreak with LimeRa1n and then there was an error that i couldnt install apps through itune.

Hi everyone. I’ve recently also come across the problem and I have also read the posts but one thing still evades me.
So yea, the phone becomes stuck on the Apple logo and there are two things you can do from here:
Either start it in iTunes (by turning it on while holding button) and restore to whatever backup you have.
Or start it again in tethered DFU mode.
The problem with the first is well, it won’t be jailbroken any more, and the problem with the second is that what if the next time you turn it off, it’s out on the streets, then you won’t have your computer with you to start it again…
You may say that I should just stay away from whatever program ‘freezes’ my iPhone like this…but I’ve installed nothing other than Cydia. Both upgraded and non-upgraded. I just install Cydia straight from Redsn0w…and from then on, next time I turn on the phone normally, it’s stuck on the Apple.
So, am I doing something wrong? Or…is Cydia just majorly screwed up right now…
I have a jailbroken iphone 4. i wanted to unjailbreak it so i deleted everything from the phone with the in phone restore and now im stuck in the apple logo. i can connect to itunes and start restore but it wont let me finish after checking with apple.

ya. you have tethered device (3GS, 4, ipod 2g mc, ipod 3g) and every time you are rebooting you need a computer and redsn0w in order to boot. it written everywhere on blog.iphone-dev.org

follow the guide. downgrade to 4.1 first. will work. the help you are looking for is in your hands. every single info you might need is here in the begging of the page.
Same problem with brand new iPhone 3G with 4.2.1 from Apple store and trying to JB with 0.9.6rc8. Stuck on the Apple during boot and stayed there forever.
The guide works great for 3G as well. Had to downgrade it to 4.1.0 first. The only problem I hit was RecBoot doesn’t work under XP, so I ran it under Vista. I cannot JB under Vista because redsn0w keeps crashing all the time regardless of the fact I’m running it as an administrator. So I did it under XP. HTH
Great guide. Much thanks.
Ahhh…the apple logo of death.
My hastiness had cost me to loose my 4.0.1/1.0.59 baseband due to some tweak i had installed, my iphone 4 got stuck on the dreaded apple logo and was forced to upgrade to 4.1/2.10.04 baseband (due to ignorance) and lost my unlock in the process (a hard lesson to learn). This started happening again with 4.1, although this time i didn’t panic right away after the first 5 minutes of staring at the apple logo. I was lucky it rebooted after a while (about 25 minutes), so when it did i immediately ran tinyumbrella to verify that i have saved SHSH, then started my own troubleshooting. After days of debugging and reading through install logs, backtracking and removing suspected apps, i found out that the long boot time was caused by a conflict between iphonedelivery and HapticPro. After removing the conflicting apps it went back to normal boot times! MobileSubstrate (a system app that can’t be removed) also conflicts with some combinations of apps and tweaks and can cause long boot times. Ensuring the applications are regularly updated usually will address these conflicts.
It’s been apparent to me that the one common thing when installing apps, tweaks, or themes, was most of them required a reboot, rather than a simple respring. Sure it’s easier and faster to just respring, but if a dependency app is pulled along with the theme for example, that’s when it usually causes a conflict depending on what it is in the first place. Even more so if several apps had already been installed without a reboot (just a respring). This makes it very difficult to figure out which app caused the conflict in the first place once the device is finally rebooted. With so called “unsigned” apps and not having a common platform to install it to (everyone’s on a different firmaware/baseband), it makes it difficult to keep track of what combination of apps and themes work well with what firmware. More and more themes are getting complicated and require other applications as their dependency and are being pulled by the application being installed, for example. Sometimes I would notice a cydia app tell me while reading the install process to reboot the device after installation, eventhough the button will pop up and say “return to cydia” when the install is done.
I just made it a point to reboot when i install an application. Some would say it’s pointless to do so, but at least I will know right away if it plays with my phone well enough or not after a reboot. And as much as possible, i try to stick with the same repo when using combinations of different apps to further avoid conflicts. Ensuring the application you’re about to install is compatible with your firware (it will normally state that on the application’s description) will also help avoiding conflicts. Keep track of what works, and remove unnecessary apps that didn’t work for you anyway. Hope this helps.

Hey guys, got a very similar problem. My Iphone 4 is still on version 4.0.1. Came back from lunch and hit the wake/sleep button and noticed my lock screen changed. The wall paper looked like two cartoon rapper icons. I tried to change it back but it wouldn’t go away. Went into cydia and they had 3 updates. Tried to update and got some message about not being able to fetch some data. It asked to reboot and now I am stuck on the apple logo. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
My phone wont proceed after the apple logo… its showing some error .. wat do i do?
I jailbroke my iphone 4 after the first ever jailbroke came out for 4.0(never updated). I recently wanted to restore it so I went to the reset menu and clicked on erase all data and content. I’m stuck on the apple logo screen and you could see the little white broken line on the screen(meaining it’s jailbroken) and when i hook it up to itunes it will not let me do anything because it has to verify with apple…idk what to do…someone please help!!!

Im stuck on pineapple logo …. Nothing happens.. :S
I did everything as the posted solution lists. The only thing I did different was that I restored my iPhone 3G to 3.1.2 instead of 4.1. Everything worked as suggested apart from, at the end even though the phone went to the home screen I was at firmware 3.1.2 not 4.2.1 and the phone wasn’t jailbroken however the BB was 6.15. I tried to restore my iphone to firmware 4.2.1 using itunes but that didn’t work. And I’m again stuck at the logo/recovery mode. How can I unlock my iPhone 3G at firmware 4.2.1?
hello everyone, if i connect my iPhone 3G to my pc i got the apple logo (without loading circle) and than, after 15 sec my screen is black. My powerbutton is defect, so what do i have to do? thanks for your help already.

Hi that happened to me you must downgrade to 4.1 by downloading it via google search then press shift restore in itunes. Then when the error comes up use recboot to kill it. Then follow sufs instructions above to restore.
Thanks sufian you saved my life started to get really worried.

OK! I have been downloading ios4.2 for my itouch 2nd generation 8gb itouch and it took long time and still wasnt downloaded so i got fade up with the whole idea and decided to jailbreak instead. I dont know much about these stuff so i downloaded the first jailbreaker file i came across named SPIRIT. After completion of download it asked me to first press the home button for 2sec then hold the home and sleep button together for i dont remember and then it said to release home button and keep pressing the sleep button. PROBLEM, because i dont know which button is either, i was using hp notebook that day and through google i found out that fn button is home button and pressing the fn and left arrow button together = sleep button. Using that knowledge i did the above steps and i was lost @ the keep pressing sleep button and release home button step because they said prssing fn and arrow button makes sleep button and fn is home button and……………………. So, after that there was kind of red supernova looking picture on my itouh screen and after 3-4 hrs of loading sign it went blank. I charged it and sincce then only the apple logo is there nothing else, my itouch is simply not wotking, worse not even opening beyonf the apple logo. I though i could donload the ios4.2 and then update it and my itouch would work again but downloading the ios through itune isnt working, after sometime there is an error and i cant download so i downloaded from the direct link and when i upload it on itunes through shift+update method it says my device is not compatible, ah WHAT? Is my itouch gone or is there still hope, do i need to repair it or would you be able to suggest some to make it work. HELP!
you find your solution here
um. where will i find my solution respected iphone blogger? Kindly let me know in detail, i really miss my itouch, your knowledge would be very APPRECIATED from my heart. REALLY!
Not one of these comments has helped?? can Iphone blogger themselves actually help us out?????
you saved my iphone’s life too!!
Not entirely sure what happened honestly. The phone was about to go dead and needed to be charged, so I hooked it up to the charger and walked away for awhile. when i came back to get the phone to make a call i saw that it was showing the apple logo along with the little process wheel turning continuously. I shut the phone off and waited for a few then turned it again only to find the same problem. there was a little twist here though. on occasion ,since turning it back on, i have seen a loading bar pop up right under the logo and load something. But what? when its done loading the bar goes away and the logo stays. Can anyone help me with this problem?
Hi, after trying to jailbreak my unlocked iphone somwthing went wrong, so i had to restore it to 4.3.3…however once restored It got me stuck on emergency calls only…is there any way to fix this? thank you!
so I did my jailbreak, everything fine there. After connecting to cydia I have tried to install ultrasnow as well as a suggested app for beta.leimobile.com/repo/ to adapt for my t-mobile mini sim. I have yet to get through this process without getting stuck in the reboot with the apple logo. I can restore it but I want to be able to use my phone and have never sucessfully been able to connect. Not once have I been able to see the t-mobile logo come onto the phone. I’ve never made it through unlock. Any suggestions on how to get there?
VK technique worked for me. Thanks
25sec hold home and power; release plug in cord hold for 30 and walla itunes is booting her back up.

i tried jail breaken my iphone4 it has the 4.3.5 update. i got Cydia and Winterboard. but after i rebooted it, it just stays on the apple logo screen. i don’t know what else to do. someone please help!
To make sure, you’re rebooting via redsn0w and not by the icon provided by Cydia correct. If so check your firmware and ver. of redsn0w to insure it’s the latest one.

Sorry! Correction below.
Open RedSn0w app. Connect device to computer. Hold power button 3 seconds. Without releasing power, hold down home button for 9 seconds. Release power button and continue to hold home button until Lime Ra1n reboot shows progress bar. A screen will appear with two options: Jailbreak and Install Cydia or Everything else. Select everything else and on next dialogue box select just reboot. The rest happens by itself. Follow these instructions anytime you encounter this problem. Good luck!!
I’ve got a better way. Download redsn0w 0.9.9b1, click extras, then just boot. Then follow the on-screen instructions to enter dfu mode. After it identifies your build if then reboots smoothly.
After it reboots, open Safari and go to http ://www. jailbreakme.com and install cydia. When it asks you if you want to re-jailbreak click jailbreak. After this you ipod or iphone should reboot smoothly each time.
thank you vinodh kumar,it works for me
I have jailbroken my ios 4.3.5 at some reason it suddenly restart at 50% full battery, (not the real problem) but it will after loading reboot and i can do nothing… i only can wait till the battery is empty but that’s taking a long time, HELP MY!

Hi.i have apple i phone factory unlocked phone.it have version 4.3.1 8G4.I used to jail break that from Snow breeze with the same firmware version what i found instruction from The net.after jail break and loading firmware to phone in success finally i tunes tell that your phone is ready and it will be restart within 10 sec what is the last message that shown in i tunes my phone is again in DFU mode and i tunes shows that every thing N/A and finding again new software for update or restore. Please help me if any one if knows anything.thanx
I used redsnOw 0.9.9b7 to jailbreak (tethered) my iphone 4 running ios 5 however after a reboot from installing a Cydia app, I encountered the same problem with the Apple logo.
Resolution:
Leaving the iphone plugged in, load up redsnOw, click Extras then Just Boot.
I then found I could put my iphone in DFU mode while on the frozen Apple logo holding down both the power and home buttons until the screen went black, then releasing the power button and continuing to hold until redsnOw recognised the phone.
It should then complete the process automatically and load the phone as normal, still jailbroken and still with Cydia installed. I even had the app installed that caused it to crash…..working perfectly!
Hope this helps guys.
Eddie01 was right, I did that too, but the problem is, by some reasons you have to reboot your phone, you will be stuck again at the apple logo, only way to get out of that is following your way again. Does anyone know how to fix this problem without redo the just boot button in Redsn0w again.
Thanks,
I was under the impression that is because it’s a tethered jailbreak?
HELP!!!!!!
