Iphone 3G Jailbreak 4.2.1 – Sync Problems

Yesterday I decided to update from my Iphone 3G 3.1.2 jailbroken to 4.2.1 since all the apps are on version iOS 4.0. Turned out to be the worst mistake of my life. I jailbroke it using RedSn0w and did everything right. Cydia installed and whatever but here’s the thing. On my I old jailbreak I’d just download apps off AppTrackr and Sync onto iTunes on my computer and it would work. Now I do it and it gives error for those apps as if I haven’t jailbroken it. Please guys find a solution for the problem.
