Just bought my first iPhone 4 second hand. Silly enough I decided to reset all settings(option in settings on the actual phone) I am at the stage where I’m in restore mode on itunes.

I know that I dont want to update the iOS to 4.02. So I’m afraid to press the “update & restore” button. Have I gone past the point of no return.

Also not sure if the phone is Sim locked?

What to do? If I dont then my phone wont start & gets stuck on the apple logo or restore & update and have to wait for a new jailbrake and unlock ?
