Hi, I got my phone ( on ATT contract ) unlocked so I could use it overseas with any GSM carrier. It is supposed to be a factory unlock. I tested it by taking it to a T mobile store and have them insert their sim card. It did show T mobile as the carrier in the top left hand corner and reverted back to ATT after putting the original sim card back in. Does this mean it is factory unlocked for sure, I can use any carrier? Also, with this unlock I was told I could install new updates and it would not lock the phone back up. Is this correct ?
