Q. | How-to Reset Jailbroken Iphone 4 |

I have an iphone 4 which has been unlocked and jailbroken [ before I bought it ] . I’m currently with Tesco (O2) The reception is horrible and I can’t access my emails so I want to change network, the phone was originally assigned to Orange but I’d like to go with Vodafone.
Couple of questions here :
- What will happen if I reset my settings after a back up ? Will it automatically go back to Orange ? or will it reset everything but still retain the ‘unlock‘ and still be with Tesco.
- I don’t want the phone to be Jailbroken so just want to get rid of it really so I can update etc. I can’t get picture messages and Tesco told me to try a couple of things and if nothing worked to reset the phone . I don’t want to do that incase it resets completely and I can’t use it !
Any advice would be greatly received.
