How to Get Constant Text Alert on Iphone 4

I recently convinced a co-worker to get an iphone4. She love the phone I did the jailbreak for her…. she wants to know is there a way to make the phone constantly repeat the text alert until she answers it like the blackberry dies with the little green and red light ? The new iphone 4 seems to be missing this feature ,  when on a call, no vibration when a new text message arrives (like on the 3G and 3GS). Any fix?

    This may help :

    1. press the “Settings” icon on the screen.
    2. Scroll down “Settings” until you see “Messages.” Press the “Messages” icon.
    4. Toggle the switch next to “Show Preview” to “On.” Toggle the switch next to “Repeat Alert” to “On.”
    5. Press the “Settings” icon to go back.
    6. Press the “Sounds” button.
    7. Press “New Text Message.” Select a sound that will play when new text msgs are received.
    8. Press the “Home” button. you’re done

    This is NOT an answer. The alert doesn’t seem to make ANY noise on my iPhone4. The repeat is set to on, but it also has NO options to set intervals or anything.
