I did every thing that was needed to unlock it and after i put on air plane mode it had a couple of bars but the T-mobile doesn’t come up so it tells me to do it again so i was wondering what can i do??

I want to buy an iphone 4 however I have T mobile as my carrier. I have doing a lot of reading and is confused as to if there is a New Ultrasn0w for the iphone 4 to unlock it. I have decided to not use the Gevey Ultra sim method. Also if it is possible to downgrade the firmware to provide for a easer unlocking?
P.S The last part is just a thought.

@Thomas : T MObile can be unlocked with Gevey Sim and it works.
