Hi, I bought iPhone 4.2.1 recently from US and its a refurbished one. Today I tried for unlocking it use of Gevey sim. One of the guy from Bangalore is selling this sim and I tried to unlock my iPhone with his help.

He cut my Vodafone sim and put it top of the Gevey sim and inserted into the Sim holder. And he did all the settings before inserting the sim.

After restarting the phone it’s not recognizing the sim and tells me “The sim is not installed“. We tried with multiple Gevey sim’s. Still same error comes.

But the US AT&T sim is searching for the network. How can I unlock my phone with Vodaphone service. I am using iPhone version: 4.2.1(8C148)

Please help me to solve this. Thanks,
