gevey sim not working problem

Hi Gevey SIM users in India. I came to know that Gevey Sim unlocks the iphone 4 in the first instance, but any repeated attempts to unlock the phone with the same SIM Fails. Is this correct ? A couple of users have reported this problem to me and hence I am a bit skeptical in the buying a Gevey Sim for my self. Will gevey sim work when used multiple times or it’s just one time use only. Can anybody let us know the limitation of gevey sim unlock .
