I recently got an iphone 3G which I am totally not familiar with. I am not sure if it was jailbroken but I know it was working in my country which it was not purchased from. It had version 2.x.x  something and I wanted to upgrade it and as such was told to plug into itunes and choose the option to upgrade which was not a good idea at all. The screen is showing the connect to itunes logo and will do nothing else. When I try to resolve using itunes it gives the 1015 error and will not come out of restore mode.I dont know what should be done now. Do i have to jailbreak or unlock my iphone? what should or can be done to resolve the issue?

Any resolutions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Search LibUSB on Google and run it to fix error 1015 .

    irst u have to upgrade ur itunes to the latest version after that u have to restore ur iphone (let itunes download the latest version of ios 5.0.1 otherwise download it from this website flexiburn)to do this u hold shift key and browse the ios after the itunes finish the restore u have to jailbreak ur iphone with redsnow latest version u can download it from

    for step u have to follow instruction just don’t forget to tick the ipad baseband to upgrade ur iphone baseband .

    after that remove ur sim card and u intall ultrasn0w 1.2.5 u can find it in cydia reboot ur iphone ,i think ur iphone is unlocked and u can use it but for 3G ithink it’s so old

    Downlaoad tiny umbrella n click fix recovery or exit recovery ……… This will get u out of the iTunes connect logo to da computer
