Hi, I have been getting Restore Error 2005 on iTunes while trying to restore my iPhone 4 . I need to restore my phone after a failed jailbreak but it wont let me do that and iTunes throws error 2005 and error 3194 at a random . What should i do .

Answer :

usb ports iphone 4-error 2005

Step 1 : To fix restore error 2005 you have to move the USB cable of your iPhone 4 to another usb port ie. from hub to main or main to hub . The problem will be fixed .

Step 2 : You have to remove the program listed below from your computer. For doing it just go to Control Panel > Programs and Features

  • iTunes
  • Bonjour
  • Apple mobile device
  • Apple application support
  • Apple software update
  • Quick Time
