I have an iPhone 4 running 4.3.5 on baseband 4.10.01 .
This is a refurb unit that replaced my 4.3.3 iPhone 4 that originally had no WiFi and no Bluetooth , but the Gevey unlock worked when I was overseas. I merely restored from a backup to this new replacement that I am now using.
Now, I am overseas and followed the usual steps to unlock but I am having the following issue :
1) I fire it up with 3G off and the Gevey + my SIM in the tray.
2) Welcome message appears but I cannot read the text (it is all black), however I can still hit the accept button.
3) One bar appears, and I dial 112 and hang up after 2 secs.
4) It starts searching, and then locks me out to the main screen with the iPhone connector to the iTunes background and says “Different Sim detected, please connect to iTunes.”
I cannot get past this screen unless I am only making an emergency call !
Please help, I have been without a phone for two days now.
