No, you cannot, it sucks!
You can if you’ve JB ya fone the 1 I use in ios 4.01 recent/callLog Delete works a treat !!!
thanks for leaving your comment Peter , no wonder we got so many apps to do various little things apple missed out on iPhone
but what utility or software does one use to delete individual call entries – earlier CallClear used to work perfectly however with the new OS4 it isn’t working. I have a JB iPhone4 on OS 4.0.1 – need to know how to delete individual calls.
Peter what’s the application that you use to delete certain numbers instead of the entire list ??
@ Freedom : Ur right ,having an iphone and not jailbreaking it …. SUCKS !!!!
Hi, I’ve got an iPhone 3 and having been used to a Blackberry Bold for ages I find the whole idea of not being able to delete selected numbers a pain especially ‘blocked’ numbers or even in-house numbers calling your mobile within a business.
However, I can see from Apple’s point of view that you have the option of creating new contacts from new numbers that have been received/missed and once you’ve updated your directory you shouldn’t need the call list!!
BUT..where you’ve got regular clients who you prefer to remain on your call list (and you don’t or can’t put on speed dial) so as you’re not in and out of your directory a selected list to remain would be very useful Apple!!
the jailbreak app is called recent/call log delete and it’s available from the xsellize repo
